Precomposing, nesting, and pre-rendering.Startup and Repair in Preferences (Beta).Well, just like Mocha is a better perspective tracker than the tools built in After Effects, Mocha also has a tool called Shape that is better at this sort of mask tracking or automated rotoscoping. And frankly, it did not do all that good of a job. We might remember, back in the After Effects Apprentice course Creating Transparency, we showed a tool inside After Effects' tracker called the Rigid Mask Tracker. Rather than having to key frame a mask manually across time, it'd be nice to have an automated tool to help make that task easier. It doesn't change shape like someone's face or human body while it's running, but it does change position and perspective from frame to frame throughout this movie. Now in this case, we're trying to mask the poster on the side of this bus. Another task that perspective tracking is good for is when you're trying to mask a moving object.
